Plan and billing
The 14-day free trial, the monthly and yearly plans, what happens when the trial ends, and how to cancel.
#The free trial
Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial with everything included. You do not need a card to start. A banner shows how many days are left, and the Plan & billing page (from the banner or Settings) shows the date.
#The plans
There is one plan with every feature, billed two ways. Prices are in Indian rupees (INR), and taxes may apply.
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly |
|---|---|---|
| Price | ₹69 per month | ₹745.20 per year |
| What it comes to | ₹69 a month | ₹62.10 a month |
| Saving | 10% (you save ₹82.80 compared with twelve monthly payments) |
Choose a plan on the Plan & billing page. You pay on the payment service's own secure page, so your card or UPI details never reach GrailVault.
#When the trial ends
If you have not chosen a plan, your vault becomes read-only:
- You can still sign in, see, copy and export everything, and your data stays exactly as it was.
- You cannot add or change items until you choose a plan. The website and the browser extension tell you so when you try.
- Nothing is ever deleted because of a missed or ended payment. Choose a plan any time and everything works again straight away.
The same applies if a paid period runs out and the plan is not renewed.
#Renewing and cancelling
Plans renew automatically until you stop them. To stop renewal, open Plan & billing and choose Stop renewal. You keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for, then the vault becomes read-only as above.
If you delete your account while you have a plan, the plan is cancelled for you at the same time.
#Paying
Payments are handled by Razorpay. GrailVault receives only a confirmation of when you are paid up to. If a payment was taken but your plan does not show as active after a few minutes, return to the Plan & billing page (it refreshes when you come back) and contact us with the payment's reference.
Note
Online payment is not switched on until the service is open for sales. Until then the plan page says so.
